Hey jackasses...fill out everything other than the amount BEFORE the cashier rings up the fargin total. Instead of flipping through the trashy magazines or running your goddamn mouth to the cashier FILL IT OUT. No one cares that little Johnny  scored a goal or that your husband got a promotion other than yourself.

Writing a check at any retail store is ridiculous in the first place.  Credit cards, check cards, and cash should be it.

i think it's been 2 years since i physically wrote a check, other than 1 check i wrote to put a payment down on my car in december, and with that, i actually had to order checks to do it....

pretty much everything is automated, or payable online.

Nobody uses cash anymore, I guess.  Look at the people using credit cards to buy $4 lunches for proof...

Wingspan

i use cash. however i hardly ever carry more than $20 or 30 at one time.

but for most everything, i use my check card. and if the person behind me doesnt like it...piss on them.

I keep a minimal amount of cash with me. Usually $20 or less. I use my debit or credit cards for everything over that amount. It helps save money when you do that because you don't always have to hit the ATM for $20.

The only check I write each month is for my truck payment. Everything else is automatically deducted.

BigEd76

I usually use cash too.  The only times I use my credit card are for filling up gas and making any purchases over $75 or so...

I have PNC as well and I don't have any limit on debit card transactions. I have the Free Checking though. I think if I were ever to use my savings account one I would have a limit. But I have no reason to use that one.
