gotta love when a team that absolutely blows gets a great player but a team that is supposedly a superbowl contender and has oodles of money will barely take a sniff

You don't know if they took an all-out whiff or not. Stop pretending to actually know anything. We see through it now.

QuoteChopsticks| One of two utensils favored by Eddie George
Thu, 30 Mar 2006 10:41:15 -0800

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports trade talks are heating up with the China Wok regarding RB Eddie George. George prefers forks, after a recent visit to China Wok (aka China Wokka Wokka Wokka) in which Geogre sat on a set of chopsticks.  A decision as to which utensil to use could be completed as soon as Thursday, March 30. Chopsticks is considered one of two utensils favored by George, but he can't get the memory of two chopsticks up his ass, out of his head.  Unfortunately KFFL has been unable to acquire any detailed information about the incident, however, all chopsticks were smelled and a smell of poopie was not found. George will have to restructure his colon if he sits on another pair of chopsticks and that doesn't appear to be a problem.

Reported on PFT, too, fwiw.

Not really.

QuoteMOULDS HEADED OUT OF BUFFALO?

The team eventually could be leaving town.  For now, it looks like its star receiver will be on the move.

John Clayton of ESPN.com reports that the Buffalo Bills are close to trading Eric Moulds to the Texans or the Eagles.  WIP Radio in Philly has reported that Moulds and the Texans have struck a deal as to his contract, which means that the only impediment is an agreement between the Bills and Texans as to the terms of the trade.

Moulds reportedly wants a three-year deal worth $5 million a season, and the Bills reportedly want a fourth-round pick.  Both, in our view, are bargains -- especially since the draft does not contain an excessive amount of quality pass-catchers this year.

The Bills have asked Moulds on multiple occasions to take a pay cut, and he has declined.  More recently, the team permitted Moulds to set up a trade.

The national news is just lighting it up with this story, huh?

So...in summary....the report by Gargano is now being quoted as being the source for the Texans radio station (from reading the Texans fansite, a caller named Gargano as the source on their local sports station) and on PFT.

His report is still the only "source"...which is now over 24 hours old and still not one actual national network has reported it or investigated it to see if its true. In fact, Clayton and Reuben Frank both claim the Eagles to be making a push for him today, meaning that there ARE no done deals.

Nothing more to read here.

But I heard that a poster on the Texans message board also said it was a done deal for 4 years, $12 million, and that it was only pending a physical!!111

I actually did hear that, though.  Which means nothing.  But I did.

As we've all dealt with before (see Bentley, kevin Johnson, TO)....I won't believe any rumors until I see it actually proven.

That is all I am saying. I never once said its not a possibility, I just said that there is no reason to believe a rumor before its proven true.
