got the first 'abreu cant hit in the clutch' call on wip today
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

season....apparently he struck out with two men on in that wack ass WBC today and someone called up and ripped him...lol

The team should have unloaded the useless Abreu when they had the chance.  I hear they still might be able to get Kip Wells for him.  Maybe we can get Pittsburgh to throw in Rob Mackowiak or some shtein.

Whatever.  I knew about Wells' injury, which added to the meat of my sarcasm.  I didn't know they no longer had Mackowiak, but that wasn't really my point either.

Trading Abreu just for the sake of trading Abreu is smrt.

Chase almost hit a homer.  He crushed one to dead center with two men on and the canuck made a great leaping catch to haul it in.

Still 8-6 Canada.   :paranoid
