Reds release former Phillies pitcher Josh Hancock for being overweight.

Excerpt:
Quote"I really believe you earn things in this game," Narron said. "When you're on the disabled list 133 games, you haven't earned the right to come in 17 pounds overweight."

Kip Wells could miss most of the season with a blocked artery in his pitching arm

I found Wheels:

QuoteLarry Anderson is awful.

Anderson stinks...period.

He use to be on for six innings every game, and he was terrible.

Besides most fans really only care about Harry Kalas calling the game...and do NOT care whether Wheeler or Larry Anderson is there with him.

Wheeler is much better than Larry Anderson and he does a decent job despite what some say here.

I would rather listen to him than that dumb lousy Larry Anderson.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Ed Wade will have to re-file his "GET WELLS AT ALL COSTS" report that he sent to the Pads GM now.

Wade had some serious man-love for Kip Wells.

Kenny Williams on Big Hurt

Quote"He's an idiot. He's selfish. That's why we don't miss him," Williams said, responding to a Thomas interview that appeared in The Daily Southtown, a newspaper in the Chicago suburb of Tinley Park, Ill.

QuoteIf he was any kind of a man, he would quit talking about things in the paper and return a phone call or come knock on someone's door. If I had the kind of problems evidently he had with me, I would go knock on his door," he said

Quote"We don't miss him, by the way," Williams said. "If you go out there and ask any one of my players or staff members, we don't miss him.

"We don't miss his attitude. We don't miss the whining. We don't miss it. Good riddance. See you later," he said.

Williams said he planned to express his feelings in person to Thomas when the opportunity presented itself, perhaps this spring.

"I'm a general manager and I'm supposed to be above these things. But again, when is enough enough?" he said. "He brought us to this point. So, OK, you want to play this game? You've got it. You got it. He's the Oakland A's problem right now. ... He better stay out of our business. He better stay out of White Sox business."

Hot damn...he really let it rip.

Hey, did you guys hear the crap that the White Sox GM said about Frank Thomas?

Pretty stern stuff.

Sgt PSN

This morning on Mike and Mike they were talking about the White Sox GM calling Frank Thomas an idiot.  We should be talking about this.  It's quality stuff.

No, I'd rather talk about how much a whore your ex-wife is.
