history of violence was just ok...one of the worst endings of a movie ive seen in a while...it completelly falls apart in the last half hour

Teh wife doesn't even want to see it. Proof that I married well.

We have both "Constant Gardener" and "History of Violence" in our Netflix queue, though. Both seem to be at least worth a watch, plus teh wife read the book of the former, so she wants to see the flick. Fair enough.

I did not read 'constant gardener'...but you can categorize it under the 'governments and pharmaceutical companies conspiring.......using the masses to test on.....something bad happens.....just go back to sleep' movies.

If I was going to rate it....sheep herder style....I'd might trade one sheeps 2-week shavings for a barrel of corn. I don't think I'd trade anything more to see that movie.

I thought the Constant Gardener had more potential. They could have blown it up into a bigger corporate/political thing but instead it played out like a 10 cents a day to sponser poor African Kids info commercial.

and i am someone who loves gore and death. house of 1000 corpses is in the bottom 10 worst movie i have seen in the last 5 years.

Saw Cinderella man and thought it was pretty good. They weren't too kind to Max Baer historically, but it was like the real rockey or something.

For those that care Max Baer did kill a man in the ring with his devastating right hand and retired from boxing after being cleared on manslaughter charges. Jack Dempsey revived his career and he became the champion. He then lost to 'Cinderella' man. Max Baer fought the Nazi's boxing champion and beat his ass with a star of David on his shorts.
