I dont care if they overpay for Wayne or if they get Moulds... or even if they somehow find a way to get Javon Walker.  Just do something to improve the WR position.   Getting Pinkston back off a severe injury doesnt count.

hey Phreak,  McMullen needs to be cut.  ;D

moulds would be a good fit, phreak....he has a couple years left so that would give brown time to develop.

Thats why I think he'd fit well here. He won't be a young and up&comer like Wayne who'll demand a wad o' cash. He'd be a stable veteran presence for Donovan and who is a proven #1. He also was heavily recruited by the Eagles a few years ago so you know they dig him.

Give him 2-3 years here and then Reggie is ready to be "the guy". In the meantime he learns a lot and is a steady #2.

i can deal with that.
i'm sure moulds would enjoy playing on a team that actually has a passing game for a change.
lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

The BIGSTUD

Another game where the team as a whole just can't make the big plays when it matters. The defense got interceptions, but missed key tackles on Manning and had no pressure all day at all and the offense just couldn't convert when it counted. Too many penalties. I really wanted this win too despite the loss being the best thing at this point.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

The Cripboys won today on a bullshtein call as well...

God, the NFL just loves its parity, doesnt it?

Just give him back #81 and watch the fireworks start. He'd be unstoppable!

Greg Lewis on the other hand, a guy who I thought would be solid and who I am not writing off yet because I think he's best suited to be a slot guy, is as soft as a goddamn pillowtop mattress

I agree with this as well.  From everything I've heard (this week excepted), Moulds would be a good veteran presence to teach Brown how to be a number 1, and would have enough left to hold the position for a couple of seasons until Brown is ready to assume the mantle, if he develops as Reid apparently expects.

GET MOULDS!  >:D

I am really not holding out any hope for Moulds to come our way. The Eagles will be one of many teams looking for a big name #1 in the offseason, and who really thinks they are going to pay top dollar? I honestly see a trade or a move happening for more WR talent, but doubt they will grab any big names. I think through free agency and the draft, it is going to be a seriously awesome offseason for the Iggs, I almost can't wait to get this season over with. After watching and seeing what Reggie Brown does, I think there will be enough talent all around next year to let the kid grow without offense having to lean on him heavily to always make huge plays, and by midway through the season, he may be able to really come on strong.

As much as I hate the Cowboys, I can't bring myself to say that it was a bs call.  It wasn't even debatable.  Easy call by the refs and (un)fortunately they got it right.

mcmahon is a friggin spaz.

and did any of you hear aikman talking about how reid was talking up reggie brown...saying he could be a #1 wr?  (happened earlier in the game, btw)
king andy is setting us up for the offseason. :boo :boo

Knew that comment would bring out certain people.

people who heard reid talk about the "fine" wr corps of thrash & pinkston for 3 years?  :-D

No, I meant the easily-manipulated type.  :-D

I have to agree with Sarge, that was a good call on KC.

Great game by the Birds today, they showed heart even in defeat. I refuse to knock them over this loss.

I'm with you there.  I came into this game with no hopes other than to just stay competitive and not get embarassed.  They played tough... just didn't go our way in the end.

I'll knock 'em. With the exception of a handful of plays the defense was walked all over again. There's 8 starters gone from the offense, and the god damned defense still manages to be the weak link.

They picked Manning off 3 times late and held a very potent offense to 23 games in regulation, they could have been better but they kept us in the game.

agreed. i give this team no props what so ever.  they finally show some heart this far into the season?  wow, im like so totally impressed.  this teams a failure this year, and they should be kicked while their down at every chance. bunch of losers.  the defense is still mainly intacted and their the main problem this year.
