I agree, LT isn't that hard to stop, it's only when you sell out to stop their passing game that he runs through vacant lanes. You have to make them want to give up the running game and play a bubble zone or someone always on top in the back field. I really think the Eagles can do this by just playing aggressive and picking and choosing when to blitz...and knocking Brees around..

Funny, I was watching Pro Football Thursday, and that moron Doc Walker said that the Eagles should control the game by establishing the ground game. Um, Doc...if you make it a ground contest, LT will become a huge factor.

The Eagles need to exploit the suspect SD secondary, and get a good lead to force them to abandon the run.

What a preformance by our D! They came back strong, and completely took LT out of the game, a amazing effort. No other D has done what they did today.

We should never be thought of as soft against the run again after today.

I cannot say enough about the defensive performance today. They let up a little in the 2nd half and let SD right back in it but when they needed to step up, they stepped up BIG TYME! All hail Jim Johnson. All hail Trotter. All hail the D.

I hate to say it, but Dr. Douche was right this week. He said in SI that the Eagles D was a sleeping monster that would put the brakes on a stat-crazy Chargers offense.
