Parry & Reno...luckiest sumbitches in the NFL.

I think you meant "worthlessiest".

Nah. Lucky is the word i was shooting for.

They get paid for doing nothing. And they're lucky to be on a roster.

I'm always happy to share.

By the way, we signed a backup kicker with the Simon money. :)

Pass-first teams are 11-19.

This is not a coincidence.

the 2 representatives of last years superbowl are also in that group.

In all of this I find this one interesting:

Indianapolis (3-0) -- 87 passing attempts / 91 rushing attempts

I am not opposed to a concept of passing more then running the ball in itself. However, I am opposed to keep passing when it is not working, especially when you seem to have a certain someone looking at times like Barry S jr in the backfield. This is a serious problem I have with Reid...
You have New York, we have Amsterdam
Just 15,000 Dutch beat out 90,000 Americans

With Timmy, one of three things is going to happen. Somebody is going to get hurt - it's either going to be him, an opponent, or one of our players.

i dont understand why.

westbrooks BEST asset is his ability to catch out of the backfield. he has 13 career TD catches, to 11 rush TDs.

why take passes away from him?

Because Westbrook is more then just a receiver out of the backfield. His rushing average is pretty good as well... so why not use that a little more... or get a viable 2nd rushing threat and have them both in at the same time....

you use him more (which i am fine with) and every starts bitching again, that he's gonna get hurt.

besides, he's carried the ball more than 20 times a total of 1 time in his career.

westbrook will continue to get 14-18 carries a game for as long as he is effective in doing that. what they need (for reid to run a little more) is to get the 2nd back a little more effective. look at the run/pass in 2003 with the three headed Injured-Pot-Monster. if Lamar Gordon can pick up more plays, only then will you see reid run more.

despite what westbrook says, he is most effective with about 20-22 touches per game (14-18 carries 4-7 catches), reid will not overuse him.

Well, i kinda agree here.  Somehow, some way...they need to either get the OL stronger to create running room.  They need a better running game than what they have currently.  There are flashes of it shown each week.  But, McNabb throwing 52 passes...man that's a lot.
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

They simply didn't run enough against Atlanta, but I think the Eagles had a good mix against San Fran.

Oakland's D is built to stop the run but has issues with pass rush and in the secondary, so a pass-wacky strategy absolutely made sense yesterday.  Sure, you can argue that Westbrook had some success on his runs, but part of that is because the Oakland D was pretty much thinking pass on every play (and can you blame them?).

Overall, balance has to be better, but I think it will be.
