Eagles Vs. Bengals Game Thread

I didn't read through the play-by-play here (but I usually do during the game, so thanks to all who post it), but I was looking at the AP write-up:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- No high-five, no handshake, not even a nod of approval.

Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens already weren't speaking to each other. No surprise they aren't exchanging congratulations, either.

True, or more noise created by the media?

Media noise. Go back and read the last few pages of this thread. TO and DMac WERE talking on the sidelines (as per McNabb's Press conference) and it was also mentioned that after the TD, they pointed right at each other on the field.

When I was watching the game replay this morning you could see Mcnabb point down the field.  Was he pointing at TO?  I dunno, you couldn't tell.  But he was surrounded by the o-line so he wasn't pointing at them and I doubt he was pointing at LJ Smith or anything.  It definately looked to me like it was one of those "Nice grab" kind of points.

Well this is different

Yeah, the article is still mostly about TO/McNabb but there's some good stuff about the rest of the team too. 

But Owens may not be the problem we imagine -- at least so long as the Eagles win. And after witnessing their latest performance it's hard to believe they won't win the NFC East and return to the conference championship game a fifth straight year.

Here's the part of that AP article that really scares me:

Known for his flamboyant antics after scoring, Owens toned down his act. He spiked the ball, stood with his hands on his hips and nodded his head. Owens then ran to the sideline, stopping once to pound his chest and point toward the sky.

OMG, he's turning into James Thrash!

Not Thrash...he did the exact copy of McNabb's pounding of the chest with one hand and point to the sky. Like what McNabb does when he first walks out of the tunnel and such.

There's over 19 pages of comments, I'm not gonna read them.  I bet I can tell what they're about anyway.

Point blank, we got our asses handed to us.  I don't know what to say.

I wasn't happy with the way we played AT ALL, and I was embarassed.

I can see the rest of the nation calling us 'Bungles' with that first play from scrimmage.

Odell was about the only one who looked worth a damn out there.

The only comfort I can take from this game was that it's a pre-season one.  Bengaldom isn't panicking right now.

However, We better turn this around in a hurry, or talks about playoffs will be out the window.

Except when he was blowing his coverage on LJ for big gains... 

I also noticed Reggie Brown talkin' a little ish to Odell after his TD.
