I have to disagree with you there RJS.  I think Simon is a top DT in the league when he's in shape, tries, and puts forth all his effort.  But all 3 have to be there or he's just an average DT...

All of the Corey contract talk aside...

After re-watching some of the Ravens game last night, I was amazed at watching Mike Patterson just blow through double teams on the Ravens OL, most of which looked like their first team. On his sack, he plowed right through two guys to Boller, almost unabated. The thoughts of him, an in-shape Corey, Hollis and Rayburn in the interior line is definitely football-bonerific!

Patterson, in-shape Corey and Choppa in the middle will clog up interior rushing, and put some pressure on QBs from the middle of the line. Who do you double-team?? Add Freak and whomever is playing the other DE, and they're going to have one serious DL this season.
