Why I am Here:  To read the thoughts of the people I consider "my tribe".  I've survived the trials and tribulations of being an Eagles Fan for 33 years.  I like to put pictures in my posts.  I like girls.  The two often mix.  I posted on EMB for a few years under a different name, but it grew tiresome.  Stumbled on this board and liked it.  My friends call me Yeti because I bought 62 acres in the Northeast Kingdom and my wife and I spend our vacations up there running around in the woods naked.  I'm pissed that I read 17 pages and didn't see one hot Asian chick.

No, my real name is not Ishmael.  Yes, I am a literary nerd who appreciates the work of Herman Melville. 

Why am I here?  Because there isn't friendly, and more importantly, intelligent Eagles discussion to be had elswhere.

One of my fondest memories of the Philadelphia Eagles came off the field.  Jerome Brown and a bunch of other players came to my high school to play a charity basketball game against our teachers.   I'll never forget how personable Jerome was as the official cheerleader, his massive frame lumbering up and down the sideline in a mini-skirt so as to rouse the already raucous crowd; nor will I forget the expression of horror which twisted my gym teacher's face when Fred Barnett sprinted down the court and dunked right over him.  That was utterly priceless.
