I get she wants to keep her job, who doesn't, but she makes a huge deal on the jump about social issues and being an ally.  to laugh about me too and BLM being "exhausting" is a pretty bad look.  so she got there on hard work alone but the black woman didn't?

maria's deal is up and she wants more. espn knew this was coming and leaked a story about her to the post before this dropped. so theyre looking to cut bait or get her cheaper, but now her stock is risen and she can leave espn and do some kind sports/morning show hybrid thing somewhere else. i get the sense she wants to expand past just hosting shtein or sideline reporting.

deadspin of all places had the story last year but didnt really run it. so this shtein has been sitting for a year and it conveniently drops to the times by her agents during contract talk time. espn proceeds to not know what to do even though its been a farging year.

deadspin isnt deadspin anymore. i think they were concerned about reporting on something nichols said where she was secretly or accidently being recorded. so they wrote something vague about it last year...likely sent from someone at espn to their friend at deadspin....it got no traction because nobody reads the site. now it pops up again just in time for maria's new contract.

maria taylor is some kind of victim? shes a gorgeous talented millionaire broadcaster who is going to be very well paid soon enough.

the equal pay fight isnt about her or some actress looking to get the same as mark whalberg or even the USWNT. its about the single mother making 35k a year doing the same job the white dude makes 40k for. the extra money there is everything. thats where the fight should be and where we need to go the mattresses on.

im sorry i cant shed a tear over who gets to do the sidelines for nba finals game or host some god awful studio show

Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby alleges conference media rights partner ESPN conspired to damage the league by luring Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC as detailed in a cease and desist letter sent to the network on Wednesday. Bowlsby also tells CBS Sports that ESPN has actively engaged the American Athletic Conference (AAC) to pursue "3-5" Big 12 members join the league, suggesting it would be rewarded with "future television proceeds".
