Customer today, in between telling me that the virus is a hoax and Bill gates wants to inject mind control into people via vaccines, said he's ready to do some patriot shtein.

I actually tuned him out for most of his demented rant. But the bits and pieces I picked up were so far off the board that the man needs mental help. Like how do I even respond to shtein like that?

do you have a long close relationship with him?...cause for me what makes that so crazy is that he spewed it in a work setting....i know hes the customer so you need him more than he needs you but i deal with vendors of my own all the time and no matter how much i despise trump id never start stomping a mudhole in his ass on the phone with one of them

He's a small customer but he's been doing biz with us since 2007. He probably spends $15-20k a year so not much in the big picture. But you'd be surprised at the amount of them feel comfortable with letting their crazy out.

We have a casual environment. They're all cabinet makers and Millwork guys so not super business oriented settings. But still.

And then they think I'm one of them since I'm white so they let their guard down.

One time I had one leaving a voicemail and he though he'd hung up. His voice went from neutral and normal to "hey ya farging Mexican what the farg are you gonna do"
