The biggest change is that people who used to be civil are no longer when politics comes up. Or the ones who were hardcore GOP have now become radicalized and infected with the MAGA bullshtein.

I avoid talking politics unless I am with a like minded person. Not because I am afraid of back and forth conversation but because those people do not listen to reason. If someone wants to have a genuine discussion I would be all for it. But that just doesn't happen. It immediately devolves into the FoxNews talking points. Or from whatever source they get their "news". They like to drop the "socialism" thing - which of course if you ask the definition of such they sputter and struggle on. But yet their hands are out for this stimulus money. Or they like to rip on Pelosi and the local government here. Its exhausting so I just don't engage.

Speaking of the stimulus - of course Mitch isn't bringing it to vote. So Bernie is going to filibuster and keep congress locked into the city over NY.

Customer today, in between telling me that the virus is a hoax and Bill gates wants to inject mind control into people via vaccines, said he's ready to do some patriot shtein.

I actually tuned him out for most of his demented rant. But the bits and pieces I picked up were so far off the board that the man needs mental help. Like how do I even respond to shtein like that?

do you have a long close relationship with him?...cause for me what makes that so crazy is that he spewed it in a work setting....i know hes the customer so you need him more than he needs you but i deal with vendors of my own all the time and no matter how much i despise trump id never start stomping a mudhole in his ass on the phone with one of them
