I figured out how to get teevee to work so I can watch the Eagles today.  Haven't had ability to watch anything on a network broadcast since before pandemic, when we had to shift the media station to the basement to make room for separating the children into their own rooms.

I have a long ass coaxial line running inelegantly through my house but the antenna is working and I'm not ashamed to admit I'm excited for this game.

PSA:  Architects.  bastiches.  Sell un-buildable dreams to clients, fall radio silent when the problems percolate up out of their "plans."  If I were Terrible King Dio, they would all be required to do two years apprenticeship, starting as rank labor, before even applying to school, and four years total on the job, tool belt, sweat, blood, rain, change orders, all of it...before they get to start their career...

Agreed.

I run into so many problems when architects are involved. They spec things with the lumber that just isn't feasible. Like the grade and species of lumber of which they're calling out just doesn't yield the specs they want. And then they get indignant about it. Like how dare we not fill their request for 16FT long x 12" wide alder.

Thank you for confirming my mistrust of architects.
