My favorite thing is for the MAGAts to trumpet the whole "get paid more to stay at home than work - can't find people to take jobs now!" talking point.

I countered with making the point how maybe the populace is underpaid if this bit of money is more than they make while working. Which is totally true. Wages are stagnant and not adjusted for inflation. Companies get these tax cuts and do not trickle it down to the unwashed masses. Mr CEO needs a fourth house.

Unless I had a career job I was in danger of losing Id collect more money and stay safe too. Sort of puts the whole "minimum wage was never meant to support someone" argument in perspective. You work 40 hours a week at any job you should be able to live off that.

its unreal to me how the maga base thinks hes some kind of symbol of masculinity

hes the biggest, girliest loser in the world. literally acts like a vindictive 15 year old upset that the varsity qb is dating someone else besides her
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I don't blame people. If I were in position to make more that way I'd do it too if my other option was to go put myself into position for peanuts.

And yeah the whole minimum wage thing comes up too. But unfortunately there's some people who can't advance beyond that. They can't pull up their bootstraps like the republicans like to say.

Even if minimum wage is raised universally it doesn't matter if goods and services go up with it. Or if inflation isn't accounted for.

It would have been funny to see him roll a pitch halfway to home plate. Almost enough to make up for all the crimes.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Yet another thing I am not shocked by.

The enriching of The Cheeto Dick Syndicate started the day he stumbled into office.

PhillyPhreak54

Continuing the theme of them enriching themselves in various ways;

$1.75B is included in relief packages (along with money for new aircraft) for a new FBI HQ by Hotel Cheeto in DC. Why would it be put there? To prevent another hotel from building there and directly competing with him.

And this in regards to the Loony Tunes shtein that the far right whackjobs are posting

Doesn't even make the top 10 of terrible Trump things but him making the postal service almost useless at the moment could be a game changer for the republicans.

not sure how it is where you all live but it's a complete mess in dc.  things going in circles for days or even weeks, stuff going missing, sitting somewhere for days.  he's really scared of those mail in ballots.

General_Failure

Even here in bumfarg Lancaster with my whole ten neighbors there's delays. I've been told that if you want to make sure your ballot has a good chance to get where it's going, get it mailed out by October 10th.

he should be all in on mail ballots

they have a 5-10% rejection rate and this may just be enough to swing WI. dems are insanely more likely to mail ballot than pubs. whats unclear is if turnout is going to be higher to offset whatever rejection you might get

however ME might full swing to biden which would give the good guys the win even if WI doesnt flip

we're also overthinking this like everything with trump, he's just destroying it to privatize it for friends.   but making the election a scandal is just an added bonus.

Well that and to get his grubby hands on their pension fund.
