No doubt some of his votes came from racists, but he won because he campaigned as populist reformist, promising to drain the swamp, make term limits for Congresspeople, etc. Unfortunately too many people fail to recognize him as the charlatan that he is.

Even if she is unelectable, what Kamala is saying needs to be said, and good on her for using the platform to espouse the Truth

Apparently Edna Friedberg is Jewish since "she is a Ph.D. candidate in modern Jewish history at the Jewish Theological Seminary", but I wonder how many actual Holocaust survivors agree with her assertion that their history is being exploited by analogizing the United Sates' current concentration camps to the ones used by Germany in WWII.

If you're shocked that conservative religious nuts support Trump, you haven't been paying attention. Jews, Christians... makes no difference. Trump has their vote because he hates dirty Muslims and that's good enough for them.

I'm shocked that a historian at the Holocaust museum discourages drawing parallels that exist. American nationalism (that they mistake for patriotism) is also a foreboding concern.
