the vast majority of currys snaps come from the RDE spot...he doesnt play inside that much at all...it was almost exclusively him and barnett on that side this year

Not really in favor of Maclin. With the cap situation, at some point in churning the roster you have to give young cheap guys more of a look. Maybe let Hollins have more of a shot. If they are looking to replace the field stretching speed of Torrey Smith, which they should,  Shelton Gibson put up eye popping numbers at West VA, 22 ypr. Supposedly he's fast as lightening but had a bad combine. Treggs should probably get another look as well, and they get either for peanuts. If the above don't pan out you can probably still get a guy like Maclin. Getting another TE that can catch is probably more of a priority.

I'm talking about when he does get pressure even from the DE spot it's generated from the inside whereas Long is more of an edge rusher.

I don't agree. Curry gets around guys too, not just under them.

For me, his value is in his surprising toughness against the run.  He doesn't get a lot of sacks, but he does disrupt things a lot, making plays different than the offense wishes them to be, and when it's a run, he's not a liability.

My only concern with Maclin is that health has always been an issue with him.  I loved him coming out of college and was thrilled when the Eagles drafted him. He's better than Smith no doubt, but you're probably only going to get him for 75-80% of the season.

That said, if it's a cheap veteran deal then sure, why not?

farg Maclin. The Eagles are the new patriots; you don't need a name unless that name is Randy Moss. Hollins should be forced to step up a la Alghoror Edelman.

Maclin took the money and farging ran, or make that limped, to KC.  Then he chose money again in Bodymore.  Bring his ass back to Philly on a vet minimum deal and then make him push a sled all over NovaCare.  Then cut him on Turk day in August.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I didn't realize that bitterness about Mack was a thing until now.

Tough to believe he's still in his 20s (for a couple more months). He looked 50 when he was 20.

Remember when he had AIDS for a while?
