The Eagles aren't the favorite to win the NFC

in vegas they probably are...i personally think the eagles and saints are tied and just a pubic hair above the rams who are lil guys bird ahead of the vikes

eagles biggest problem is not in any players they have lost its in that its really farging hard to repeat...i actually think the coaching staff turnover is a bigger negative than all the players they will end up losing combined

one of the beats said on twitter today that the brooks restructure isnt true

this is really huge so lets all get to the bottom of it

Yeah, I've seen nothing more about it, so it looks like an urban legend.

QB Eagles

On top of that:
- Matchup advantages against the Eagles are being specifically sought
- Already strong NFC seems to be getting better via trades & free agency, plus full seasons of Rodgers and Jimmy G
- Wentz return from injury big question mark
- Eagles play the first place schedule
- Hybrid offense the Eagles used in the playoffs won't survive an offseason of game planning, and other teams will be running it

ice grillin you

yeah those all fall under the its really farging hard to repeat thing

on the positive side normally when you win the super bowl you had pretty good health....but the eagles title was a depth superbowl...their injuries cant possibly be worse than last year...

also while there is the sub conscious human element in not having that fire once you win the eagles have the conscious part locked down...they do not seem like a roster/organization that will rest on its laurels having just won one

still

its really farging hard to repeat

Sidney Jones in and Patrick Robinson out.

Yeah, thanks for the memories, P-Rob.  ✌🏻

i suspect he gets a long term deal cause there is a lot of money still out there but i wouldnt totally discount eric ebron signing an alshon type contract this offseason....would be a perfect fit for the birds on a one year deal...they need a te and he can play himself into a long term deal next offseason by playing with/in foles/wentz/eagles offense

QuoteI'm told that Patrick Robinson's new deal with the Saints will be for four years, $20 million with $10 million guaranteed, $8 million in the first year with $2 million due on the third day of the league year in 2019 (for injury). The Eagles actually offered more money overall but the Saints offered more guaranteed.

On a 1 year prove it type deal Enron would be perfect.

If I'm taking someone on a one year prove it deal, I'm targeting Tyler Eifert over Ebron. Far more productive than Ebron ever was when Eifert was actually on the field. Eifert's issues are health related, which would be negated some with less playing time. Ebron is a bum, and it's not like he was playing with some stiff QB in Detroit, Stafford is pretty good. Ebron just comes off as an underachieving loser. Eifert is a bigger risk, but if he can stay healthy he has a much higher ceiling.

Eiferts a top 10 TE when he's healthy, some teams going to sign him to be s starter.

QuoteEagles created $5.407M in cap space in 2018 by converting $7.21M of TE Zach Ertz's $8M base salary into a fully guaranteed roster bonus.

BUT if he comes, he might be able to make up that money by selling "My ball Zach Ertz when Eifert." Shirts. Problem solved.

hunt

no interest in ebron...he brings a loser's mentality.  :boo

lemonade was a popular drink and it still is

Have a feeling Howie has something in the pipeline.
