I wouldn't be surprised if they try Worley at safety. Even if they traded one of the CBs, they are still very deep there.

My line of thinking as well. They already have a slew of young CBs.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Crazy to think about the young depth they have at CB, when this time last year that felt like the absolute, most dire void.

General_Failure

I mean, they did help give up 500+ yards to a 40 year old QB in the last game they played.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Supposedly close on an extension with Robinson. I'm all for keeping Robinson, he was a great slot3rd CB, but even assuming Worley's getting moved to safety, there's a logjam at CB. I think Darby gets moved.

robinson is the guy i'm least enthused about coming back - he was very good last year but the odds that is an aberration is higher to me than other FAs.  can't bring back everyone.  i'd rather not spend too much money on 31 yo journeyman corner coming off his best year.

ice grillin you

all those reasons you mentioned are why they can resign him....probably not a great market for him...at a fair number i think hes worth it just because there is no plan B...no one else on the roster can play in the slot and you are not finding a slot corner on the open market that is better than robinson and that you can afford....so then you are down to hoping you find a slot corner in the draft?...that would be terrible

QB Eagles

If they can find a way to keep the best CB on the team last year, I can't complain. Not realistic to expect him to replicate 2017, but obviously he fits the Eagles defense better than anyone else at the position.

At this point, I just worry Howie's paying for all this stuff by cutting JP.

I'd love Mills in the slot. He's perfect a perfect fit covering in traffic.

I understand the argument and it depends on the contract but I'm not in on Robinson repeating last year's performance.  I'm not sure who would play slot - maybe Rasul there limits his weakness veritically due to his lack of speed.

ice grillin you

theres no one on the current roster who can play slot except for robinson

looks like they are going to trade darby...so if you minus his salary and say doubled robinsons you are only coming out of pocket for a few hundred thousand bucks
