The one thing that irritates me about Didinger is he likes trotting out the "they're X-X when running the ball x times" line.

I can point at individual players who had poor games, but as a full unit, almost every unit played well today except RB I guess. Wentz played as well as one can play against their defense in KC. Tough place to play. I've seen that defense in Arrowhead eat up Brady, Wentz held up really well. I'd love to have a laundry list of players to rip to shreds, but there really isn't any. Seumalo, Torrey Smith for the drops is about it. Nothing really egregious today from the Eagles that I find infuriating otherwise. This defensive line is monstrous, they are going to cause a lot of issues for QBs and offensive lines all season long. They just crushed Smith today.

Curry missed sack.

I feel like this is the norm for 7-9 -9-7 teams.

panthers - not good, just lost olson

49ers - win
cowboys - its ON

Nice summary. They played better than I thought they would despite playing one of the best teams in the league who had extra time to prepare and was playing their home opener

Blount was a horrible signing. The run/pass ratio doesn't bother me, that they only have one running back that is remotely useful does. No lie I'd make a call to the Saints and see what they want for AP. They'd probably trade him for peanuts at this point. He's not happy in a crowded backfield and I've seen enough of him this season to know he still has it. Release Blount.

What blows is they didn't address RB this past draft which was deep. They could have traded the Pomphrey pick and their second to move up for Dalvin Cook. They're probably not using their 1st next season unless Barkley drops so now they have to trade up from the 4th to address a need.

The Bucs could be legit. Not liking the sample size of one game against the pile of garbage that is the Bears, though.

Something seems fundamentally wrong about the Seahawks' game but they've run into this in previous years and figured out how to fix it halfway through the season. Until we see otherwise, you have to assume them and the Packers will find a way into the playoffs and not be an easy out.

Panthers quietly doing their 2015 thing of piling up unimpressive Ws, which are still Ws.
