I didnt' watch the Lions game but I did watch the Racists.  Refs jobbed the Eagles on several of those calls.

I counted no less than 10 penalties that should have been called against the fleshpops that weren't.   The Cox penalty was a flat-out game changer, though.

So the Cox penalty was of no consequence then?  How many times did the Eagles flagged after big plays?   They played like horseshtein on both sides but the ridiculous officiating wasn't inconsequential.

The officiating changed the game and is increasingly doing so throughout the league.  The game needs simplification or this will only get worse.

Or a little more accountability for the refs other than "nah, you're not doing the playoffs, have fun with your day job."

Unlike the Lions game, I didn't see a lot of bad calls. Or even the generalized confusion that surrounded the Morelli crew for the whole game. I did think the block in the back against the Eagles was marginal and personally I wouldn't have thrown that flag, but by the letter of the law it was a penalty and these refs are making split-second decisions.

If the game was refereed by perfect computers instead of imperfect people, I think both teams would get flagged on every play, so non-calls have to be super flagrant for me to bitch about them.

im not dismissing the refs, im just stating they are the least of the eagles worries.

The problem is more the rule set than the refs.  Too many and too cold to get right.  Refs should be full time, too.

if the refs missed "no less" than ten penalties on wash then that means they missed about the same on the eagles unless you believe there is a conspiracy against the birds...so really the eagles should have had easily over 20 penalties...thats crazy when you think about it
