The Eagles got their asses handed to them yesterday, officiating had nothing to do with the loss. The score wasn't a good indicator of how beat they were.

The officiating during the Lions game on the other hand was a farging joke.

if the refs missed "no less" than ten penalties on wash then that means they missed about the same on the eagles unless you believe there is a conspiracy against the birds...so really the eagles should have had easily over 20 penalties...thats crazy when you think about it

It almost makes you think they've got some really bad players who are in over their heads.

That's all I was trying to say.   It's plainly evident and not just where the Eagles are concerned.  The officiating has only gotten worse as more challenges and reviews have taken place.  They're scared of farging up and when you have that mindset, you're more apt to make poor calls.

I feel like technology to track the location and orientation of the ball with 100% accuracy ought to exist these days. That would at least take one thing off the refs' task list. Let them dedicate more of their attention to the decisions only a human can make.
