I liked the pilot.  It seems like it could become a hot mess or pretty good depending on the direction they take it.  I'll keep watching.

I'm about halfway through S1 right now and I really like the way they're telling the story. I do think that the acting has been pretty weak at times though. I do have 1 time line issue though...Claire (Rosario Dawson) shows up during the story and it's obviously running concurrent with S2 of Daredevil with her having quit her job at the hospital.  I'm under the impression that the current Luke Cage story is taking place before he meets Jessica Jones.  Claire meets LC in S1 of JJ and she's still working as a nurse.  Hopefully this gets explained at some point and isn't a really big farg up on the time line.

Also dvr'd it. I'll catch it sometime this week.

Lastly, thought the Fear finale was decent but took a step back from how good the season had been.  When Ofelia got captured I said to squaw that even in the apocalypse, Trump supporters are still guarding the border.

thought I remembered Claire mentioning to cage that she helped his old girlfriend in hell's kitchen, I assumed she meant Jessica jones. may need to double check that.

Edit - found this online -
QuoteWe expect that the Luke Cage series will dive into the character's origin story and will show how he received his "gifts," but most of it will be dedicated to following the character after the events of Jessica Jones. As a result, we will not only see him still grieving the death of his wife, Reva Connors, but also still suffering the after effects of Kilgrave taking over his mind

you're right that there has been some weak acting. diamondback in particular IMO. I like his backstory, but the actor is annoying, seems more like a petulant child stomping his feet, than a super villain.

for anyone that watched westworld -- is it super nerdy geeky stuff?

looks well beyond my tastes and on top of that the reviews are mixed.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I didn't watch it - the previews didn't show something I would be interested in

Turns out that had I watched 1 more episode of LC, I'd have gotten my time line answer.

Also, Kima is in it. Still hot.

I checked ones off whether I've seen at least one ep all the way up to the whole season. My total is 46.

House of Cards being at 83 is kinda low

Notable omission? Jericho.

i dont really know how to count a show...

i didnt count it if ive seen a few random episodes on syndication

i didnt count anything unless i watched at least one full season straight thru

but there were a couple shows that had or do have like six seasons and i stopped watching after one or two....so i saw far less than half of it and wont see it finish....does that count?

anyway my count came to 19

where the farg is KOQ?

I caught Westworld last night, and it was pretty good. They're going to do some interesting things with the characters (both human and otherwise). Kind of Bladerunner-ish with regard to the interplay between humanity and robotity (and robot-titty, because it is HBO after all).
