the country has had lots of stupid people for over 400 years and no one close to trump has ever been a presidential nominee...certainly not in the modern era of the country.....we can go over 500 reasons as to why he is the candidate that's not the point....the point is less than a year ago no one thought he would be the nominee so to see it happening on a daily basis now makes it beyond unbelievable

he crafted a super image of himself and was largely covered by the entertainment press, which is the least talented and laziest and most star farging group of people ever. he gave them all the access in the world, non stop quotes and sound bytes and nobody ever cared enough or bothered to call him on his mountains and mountains of bs

now that its happening, its far too late because he has a fair amount of fanatical support from people that will never ever disassociate themselves from him even if he skullfarged their mothers, the backing of the gop and a press that throws out 100 negative trump stories a day that become white noise after a while.

basically theres simply too much negative information about him to make a dent.

I didn't think of the entertainment press coverage. But it makes sense. The tmz reporting and the infatuation with no talent ass clowns like the kardashian family is lapped up by stupid people

His responses to her speech were truly embarrassing.  It's like he doesn't have access to a vocabulary that extends beyond middle school, but then again, neither do his supporters'.

Also - I hate to say it but that scene in San Jose was nothing compared to what's coming.  He incites violence in supporters and foes alike.  It's ugly and it's only going to get much worse in the coming months.

And frankly, I don't give a shtein why his supporters love him.  I agree completely with IGY... supporting Trump alone should be sufficient enough evidence to warrant the removal of your voting rights because he's truly as dangerous a candidate as this country has ever seen and that includes George Wallace.

1. nationalistic/racist message that resonated with the republican base
2. huge primary field filled with 16 horrible candidates who were more or less the same as each other and trump
3. tough guy tell it like it is attytood

the thing you need to remember is a very small number of people actually like trump...yes he will get more votes than that this fall because R's will vote for any R and people despise Hillary but no matter how stupid much of this country is they still elected a bl,ack man twice and trump has zero chance to win the presidency

that said it still doesn't lessen the shock I have and maybe always will have that this guy is an actual presidential candidate....he makes pat buchanen look like abraham lincoln

trump is a disgusting pos who does incite violence but you cant fall for it...that's what he and the racists what...what better video is there for them than guys wrapped in Mexican flags punching white trump supporters

but even above and beyond that....no matter what you think of trump and his minions, in America you actually do have the right to attend a political rally without getting punched in the mouth
