Once a player gets a helmet tweaked enough so it's fitted comfortably, it's his for the whole season. The NFL safety people have recommended that helmets don't change. Probably just covering their ass to prevent being sued by someone who gets a head injury in a throwback/color rush game and claims the NFL made him switch helmets for that game. Rule has been in place for the last three years.

It might be awful, it might be acceptable, depends on the details of it. I'm not loving the idea of everything in the stadium being themed zesty gray, but we've seen all midnight green before and it's a confirmed atrocity.

eagles want to do it but the nfl said if you switch jerseys you need to re do the whole stadium so that everything is Kelly green....like they aren't allowed to switch to Kelly green as their color and still have teal green seats in the stadium
