from a football standpoint you cant ask for much more than the worst team in the league in game 1 and another terrible team in game 2, plus 3 of your last 4 games in the division. leggo.

most have at least 2 at the end (of course everyone has week 17), and this is done to create drama and ensure tight division races. so its not a SHOCK but yes its a good thing and certainly a better thing that theyll be at home.

of all the three week stretches next season the eagles have the 4th hardest in the league right now...

Weeks 7-9, the Eagles play the Vikings, Cowboys, and Giants, all of whom will be coming off their bye weeks. And this is during that month+ stretch with only one home game.

I live in a pocket of them thanks to the mass exodus of them in the 80's to my area thanks to the old steel mill.

we all get along football wise, hockey, not so much.

I've watched football at the same pub for 25 years and there's a huge contingent of Stillers fans there every week.  They have their own room which seats maybe 100 people.  Anyway, right in front of the entrance is where the Buffalo fans watch their games and since I have several friends among them, I'll routinely hang out with them.  I don't watch their game, though.  I actually sit there to watch the collection of subhuman Pittsburgh mutants that stroll in and out during the game.  It is truly the strangest group of genetic curiosities I've ever seen. 

Most of them are also Penn State fans, and they occupy the same room on Saturdays, so if I'm around to watch CFB, I'll usually see them around during both days.  The Lions fans do have a lot of Philly people among them, so it's not quite as hideous a show as can be seen on Sundays, but it's close. 

The Penn State fans' median age is about 75 too, but they always have great 50/50's and I occasionally pay for an entire Sunday's bar bill with those wins.

Long story short... farg Pittsburgh but yay to their entertainingly disturbing looking cromag fans.

The Thursday night home game against the Giants will supposedly be a color rush. Before you get too excited, the Eagles won't be wearing kelly green because the NFL safety committee doesn't let teams switch up helmets anymore  (the most you can do is change decals), and kelly green uniforms with midnight green helmets isn't happening. So the rumor is silver.
