Wednesday nights would be perfect. People want more football. You associate an NFL team with developmental players and you open up a whole new market. Think XFL but there's already a built in audience.

Zanshin

College is the developmental league.

ice grillin you

really training camp and practice squads are the developmental league...nfl rosters are so big that if you cant make one out of college after going thru camp the chances of ever making the league are slim to none

semi pro football is where these guys are at if you really wanna see them

dont be mad UPS is hiring
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

College is the developmental league.

Pretty much.

Tebow on some sort of minor league roster would be bananas though. Can you imagine the ticket sales for some schlub team in Omaha or Birmingham?

i know what youre saying....if you put the games tuesday/wednesday with some national DHs and air the games locally (like on csn) they would do well.

but nobody would go. its 20 degrees outside on a november wednesday night. nobody is going to watch a bunch of crappy has-been and never will bees. there would be no atmosphere for the games, it wouldnt be a good tv product. it wouldnt work.

the games would have to be either be at the team facility or stadium. the nfl isnt putting its games at some minor league or high school field.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

General_Failure

Isn't the Arena League still a thing? That's where I go when I really need a fix of players who aren't good enough for even the shteintiest NFL teams.

Other than the NFL printing money, which it would still do if any one of us fine gents were in Rog's spot, what has Goodell NOT farged up?

Every big disciplinary thing he's touched has been a joke

He's allowing the penalties to become a hindrance

He gets paid upwards of $40M and he keeps tripping over his own feet

QB Eagles

pay college players
stop pretending that the players on the team go to school; the school is just their sponsor
they don't even have to be college aged
make cfb a tiered promotion/relegation system

end the exploitation system instead of creating worthless new leagues

He takes all of the public abuse so that the owners can count their money in relative obscurity. Basically, he's the sacrificial lamb and the owners pay him about 40mil a year to absorb every bullet fired in their direction. He's the shield in front of "the shield."

PhillyPhreak54

I'd do that for $40m too. Oh you're criticizing me? Can't hear you bc of these hundos I have stuffed in my ears.

On another note the rugby dood for the Niners is fun to watch

Rome

How did Brett Hundley make it thru five rounds?

General_Failure

Did they bring him in just to high five him?

BigEd76

Titans traded Andy Levitre to the Falcons for a 2016 6th and conditional 2017 pick

Niners released Darnell Dockett

PhillyPhreak54

ATL needed good OL that's a good move for them

Wonder who picks up Dockett?
