I don't think the NFL has the balls to suspend him for the opener (they might pretend the appeals process is still ongoing or something), and the Eagles game probably comes too late. Weeks 2 and 3 against the Bills and Jags going into the bye seems like a possibility.

It also seems the kind of thing that the public will eat up, because, you know, Patriots...but sounds like the kind of shtein that probably happens all the time everywhere. Only a fool would believe otherwise.

If the game was somewhat close I could understand some outrage...but they lost by 38 points. A ball an inch underflated isn't going to close that type of blowout.

Look at baseball and the Vaseline and other substances the pitchers use to get better grips. Other than Gaylord Perry and Michael Pineda who blatantly did it no one else gets popped because every team does it

no farging way he gets suspended but not for the opener.....it has to start with game one or he gets no games....cant believe even the nfl would be that blatant and ballsy

also the punishment is supposed to come out in "days"....it would be laughable to say theres an appeal process still going into the middle of sept

in a backwards way brady being out might actually hype up the game even more rather than lessen the interest
