Well my Uncle's place has been featured on pretty much every program over the last month at this point, including Access Hollywood and some UK show. Pretty crazy.

I second the somewhat calm feeling. Tbh I think it's because this time around i think the Eagles are clearly the better team and should win. Hurts clearly isn't right with that shoulder (I still think we're gonna find out next week he has a torn labrum that requires surgery or something like that), but high ankle sprains don't just heal in 2-3 weeks. Mahomes is gonna get gimpy the first time he tries to push off that thing. He's the X factor but he's an injured X factor.

Glad you brought up the Mahome's high ankle sprain.  Heard a morning radio talk show hosted by two ex-NFL players, names esape me, but this was two Saturday's ago, day before AFCCG and they both called BS on Mahomes ankle.  They said you aren't playing a week after a high ankle sprain.  No way.  Is he superman or was it never that serious?  I have no idea.

I've been strangely calm all week.

The Eagles should win, as they're the better team on both sides of the ball.  Except for Patrick Mahomes.  The Eagles can run, they can pass, and they can put pressure on the opposing QB.

Mahomes will get points... but can the Chiefs keep the Eagles at bay? Or will the Eagles chew up the clock with their balanced attack?

The one loss the Eagles had with Hurts under center was because of turnovers.  If the Eagles protect the ball, I'm pretty confident they will win.  Which is a feeling I cannot remember having very often with this team.

It's the best Eagles team of my life. I'm pretty sure of that. They should win. But it's Pat Mahomes. That's a hell of a test. Eager to see if this team is up to it.

This week was so busy at work I didn't have time to dive into all of the SB coverage that I wanted. And it kinda kept the game on the back burner for me.

Last night the excitement and anxiety started creeping in as we were beginning to party prep. Today it kicked into full blast. House is ready, food is ordered, beer is in the cooler and the bubbly is on ice. It's 2am and I'm struggling to sleep. I can't wait.

Outside of the normal X's and O's stuff we all know, to include the Andy with extra time to prepare stats, I am hopeful that the Eagles defense doesn't have one of their games where tackling is spotty or that Steichen is in one of his play-calling ruts. Either one of those would be less than ideal.

Pachecho is a tough runner. Have to smack him and get him down. And I expect Andy to try to combat the pass rush with short drops, screens, tight splits and misdirection. The Chiefs RT isn't very good so I'm sure Reddick will get chipped like crazy.

Cannot let Mahomes break contain, ankle or not. The Eagles DEs have to be careful about crashing down especially on third downs where Mahomes will break contain and run for a first.

I think DeVonta has a nice game. And I also think the running game continues to do well. In a perfect world the Eagles have a lead so they're able to run that clock down.

I always thought the key to the game was if the Eagles are able to shut down Andy's invincible inside shovel passes  within the Eagles 10 yard line. Doesn't that determine who will win the World Championship? TJ better stomp on that one.
