Now I gotta watch it for the cringe factor

Bizarre story
Quote
"Roughly a year ago, someone unlawfully entered Cook's house. The female who did it, is a sergeant in the U.S. military, attacked Cook in his home while he had a guest present. Cooks defended himself, as authorized by Minnesota's version of the Castle Doctrine. The invader then allegedly tried to extort Cook for millions of dollars, claiming that she suffered injuries during the course of the attack that she allegedly initiated"

QB Eagles

I'm entertained by the sports media pretending that OBJ gets to "pick" his team, like they are lining up around the block. It's not 2016.

Level of hype is so out of proportion to the level of talent left.

The Rams it is. Odd move with the depth they have.

Well, I'm sure he understands that they might spread the ball out a little bit and won't cause a fuss.

The man. The myth. The legend.

That was pretty quick. I guess now we'll be ready for the next round of Dez updates, and what celebrated QB he is now 'working out' with.

Gruden sues Goodell and the NFL
Quote"Through a malicious and orchestrated campaign, the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell sought to destroy the career and reputation of Jon Gruden, the former head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders," the lawsuit alleges.  The complaint contends that Gruden was "forced to resign" as a result of the persistent leak of supposedly secret emails from the Washington Football Team investigation.

"When their initial salvo did not result in Gruden's firing or resignation, Defendants ratcheted up the pressure by intimating that further documents would become public if Gruden was not fired," the lawsuit filed Thursday on Gruden's behalf alleges. "They followed through with this threat by leaking another batch of documents to the New York Times for an October 11, 2021 article. On October 7, 2021, Jon Gruden was the head coach of the Raiders on a 10-year, $100-million contract. By October 11, 2021, he had been forced to resign."
Nice to see GruDog taking full responsibility for his actions.

He can be a racist homophobe pig AND also was railroaded.  Both things are possible.  Let's see how much of it goes public.  Gruden might be willing to make himself a real pain in the ass to the league.

Haven't read an article yet...he didn't sue the Raiders, did he?

I just read the complaint itself.

Raiders sued only by virtue of them being in the NFL, not singled out.

Forced to resign?  You mean like Vito Corleone-style (as in your brains or signature will be on this resignation)?

Pretty sure those e-mails will be devastating when it gets to discovery.

PhillyPhreak54

Good.

I want to see what's in that entire report.

Well, they lost Jackon and then put Atwell on IR.  So it was a swap of one diva for another and not much depth behind the starters.

Then yesterday, Woods tore his ACL.

Kupp, OBJ, Van Jefferson....and a bunch of Eagles quality WRs (Smith notwithstanding)
