Before Captain obvious chimes in yes we all realize they couldn't score runs

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ice grillin you

Kerkering is irrelevant...phils were not scoring another run that game no matter how long it went and they were out of good pitchers...kerk makes that play it just extends the inevitable another inning
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

nobody wants to hear this but kerk has been quite good...he made the pitches in G2 and got unlucky runs scored. he made the pitch today and, well, made his own bed but the pitch was made.

but yes. their absolute gross offense wasnt scoring a run and youre lucky you got the 1

thomson and klong are outta here, along with about half the lineup

Double captain obvious's

ice grillin you

hes not very good but more than that tonight was about being completely out of his league and not ready for a situation like that

i mean the reason he was able to even throw the ball home on that play is because he walked the bases loaded

he came into the game with runners at the corners and 2 outs. hes also in his 3rd year in the bigs and if hes not "ready" for that situation then he doesnt belong

I'll text you my buddy's number we were both screaming at the tv why would you take Luzardo out and replace him with chokering. farg Thomson and his over reliance on playing batting/pitching righty/lefty matchups.

Thomson/Dumbrowski/Marsh/Castellanos/Schwarber/Walker/Chokering...insert whoever shouldn't be back

Don Ho

Exceptional starting pitching, shakey bullpen, bats that go cold as ice, team that consistently tightens up in pressure situations (called the post season), Topper, Hoydas who can't handle the home crowd......The Phillies.

With all this garbage, we saw the past six nights, the starting pitching was phenomenal.  Sanchez twice, Luzardo, Nola/Ranger were amazing.  I could not be prouder of that group.

Who is gonna be the new manager?

MDS

kerkering literally made the pitch...that the ball went to him and not boring bryson or bohm is entirely random

luzardo didnt seem to have a ton left. 5 outs was more than he shouldve gone. rob ran out of trust in drob and wasnt going to start with banks.

but it again didnt matter whether kerk made that play or not. they werent scoring another run and LA was going to inevitably win the game.

i can also point back to thomson walking ohtani to get to betts in the 7th. Hoyda move. just like the bunt. back to canada you go

So glad you brought that up Todd exactly that was a Hoyda move by topper.  Ohtani was struggling at the plate. He was a hot mess up there all series and if he beats you there, then hats off to the greatest baseball player ever but total Hoyda move!!

Also find Toppers love affair with KK puzzling. Reminds me of his loyalty to Kimbrel.
