chris sanchez kept them in the game, they actually hit yu hard but just a little unlucky to not really sustain a rally. then their secondary relief guys got shtein on (first time in a while). finally got something going but nobody hits hader.

with that said, i would trade andrew painter if trea turner could be packaged in the deal. god i hate him.

That was my next question to Todd J.  His long ball is perfect for the bank and his fielding is perfect for this defense.

I saw someone say they'd use Turner as part of the deal. Not sure I buy any of it.

not an ounce of validity

though one of the padres relievers friends was hanging with us for a bit tonight (cosgrove, he pitched the 7th). they said the padres were going to trade soto if things fell apart soon. which has validity to it. just not to the phillies.

I think if they do we can rule out the NL West as partners

Rangers?
Yankees?

Even tho Cincy has a ton of prospects and budding young players no way they pay him.

Also, not Soto related, but I think the Mets are gonna sell.
