If he's BPA sure draft him. But he'd be the 4th option behind Ertz/Jeffery/Agholor. I'd rather they release Smith and his $5 million no dead money ass and sign a veteran WR on the cheap. There are plenty out there who would come on the cheap for a chance to win a ring.

They need to focus on OL and LB.

Diomedes

I don't even see the need to sign a FA WR unless he's cheap.  I'm good with seeing more Mack Hollins and drafting WR prospect late.

Agree that OL and LB should be the focus.  Eagles aren't keeping both Bradham and Kendricks and the bench isn't strong.

if they wanna resign bradham and/or curry and i have no idea how strongly they feel about either one then they could easily do it by restructuring one or two of their biggest deals cox or LJ for example and convert their base salaries to bonuses

they have to weigh their desire to do so (again we dont know how strongly they feel about any of these guys) and their desire to go all in on winning next year against future cap damage but doing it would create a lot of money
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

Unless Wentz breaks his spine or looks like ass this year, they are likely going to dump a mountain of cash on him between the end of the 2018 and 2019 seasons. I think every contract or renegotiation they sign between now and then is done with that giant bill in mind. I don't see Howie as a "win in 2018, farg the future" kind of guy.

Either way, we know his spreadsheet game is strong. Even when a lot of us wanted the guy fired, none of us doubted that. I think we can have total confidence in him getting under the cap with minimal damage to what made this team champions.

Rome

Pretty sure they feel good about Bradham considering he's the best LB they have.  If he gets an Oprah offer, then bye, though.  And not because he's not worth it either.  You can't pay everyone.  Too bad too because he deserves it.

Bradham is my favorite linebacker on the squad. Love his energy and his near misses on big plays.

Hope they find a way to keep him.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Diomedes

A fifth round pick and WR Marcus Johnson for Bennett and a 7th round pick.

What's Bennett's contract look like?

the last wr on the roster...undrafted made the team out of camp....was rarely active and when he was he didnt do much. has speed which seattle covets. might wind up being an ok deep threat only receiver but highly unlikely youre ever going to remember hes gone.

Yeah, there was never any doubt that he could balance the books.  It was always a question of his ability to evaluate players, identify good coaches, and actually deal in the NFL.

So far I don't see how anyone could feel he hasn't done well in all areas. I mean, I'm not sure how he ranks as a talent evaluator, but that story from last year about him wanting Jason Peters when he was on the Bills PS really opened my eyes and made me consider the possibility that the guy just might legitimately know football things.

I'm all in on Howie until this team goes 3-13.

QB Eagles

Even if he was a terrible talent evaluator (and I'm not saying he is), there are a ton of other people paid by the Eagles to evaluate talent. If he could humbly accept their input and feed that into his spreadsheets, that would be a perfectly acceptable way of managing the roster.

It's only when someone tries to do something they suck at (Chip) that gets you into trouble.
