I've already watched it 100 times and it's crazy how much it relies on no one on that side of the Pats line having any respect for Foles as a threat. Eric Lee comes within a foot of him but keeps his eyes on Ertz, along with at least one other Patriot.

Trey Burton puts his arms up in victory before the ball even gets to Foles.

This play was Doug dragging his big balls all across the lips of Belichick and Brady.

Torrey was wide open too as a potential safety valve.  Amazing call.

The delay by Foles helped, too. If he immediately takes off and doesn't look confused, someone probably sticks with him.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

My phone blew up with congratulations as well, which I find so strange.  WTF did I do?  I don't even buy the branded gear.  I just watch the games when errands don't beckon, and suffer.

Am I to be congratulated for suffering?  For talking with you idiots every goddamn day?

Yes goddamnit, you are! Now suck it up and be happy!
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I think this thread should be pinned to the top of the forum.

Also, here's a little extra icing on the cake...

The draft is in Dallas and presumably will be heavily attended by Dallas fans who will have to listen to this:

With the 32nd pick in the 2018 NFL draft, the World Champion Philadelphia Eagles select....

I know we aren't used to this, but it's going to be a party straight through the draft, the ring ceremony, the Hall of Fame induction, and the raising of the banner on kickoff night. Then it's all business again.

It'll actually be before that. Goodell will step to the podium at the very start of the draft and say something like "Welcome NFL fans everywhere watching on TV and attending here at the draft in Dallas. We had a great and exciting season and congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for being Super Bowl champions." He starts off every draft congratulating the champions, finally this year it's us and in what better of a city?

So it'll basically be the first thing everyone there hears to kick off the draft. It'll be great!

We now live in a world where the Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl champions.  If that's possible, anything is attainable.  I woke up again this morning a bit unsure if it happened.  Yep.  It did.

Unbelievable.

Doug Pederson and Nick Foles defeated Bill Belichik and Tom Brady in the Super Bowl.

It's a fairy tale.
