Tomahawk

He probably sucked off the entire coaching staff for every team he played for, but that's still not as bad as how much you guys are sucking him off right now

MDS

we're not sucking him off...but you play 10 years in the league, you play 10 years. this has nothing to do with him as a coach. that has left a lot to be desired. but he can reference his playing career without people jumping on him with HE SUCKED DURRR.

if you think doug was a bad qb think about how bad all the other guys he beat out for jobs were.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

So what you're saying is we need Head Coach Koy Detmer.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Tomahawk

Holding a clipboard for 9 of 10 years doesn't command respect from people who have starting level talent.

if doug never made the nfl nobody would ever say he sucks.

Agreed, it would be difficult to discuss the talent level of a NFL player who never played in the NFL.

Pretty sure you're trolling,  but just in case,  this couldn't be more wrong. Players know how much work it takes to get to the NFL. Veterans know how hard it is to stay in the league and even young rooks and 2nd year players are already seeing their boys from college wash out.

MDS

if holding a clipboard is so easy why did literally hundreds of players not get a job that doug got over the course of those 10 years? i guess i should backup wentz since what the heck its easy shtein

sure compared to even a league average qb doug wasnt good, but compared to that qb who didnt make it through the first round of cuts doug was pretty damn good

Field goal holder would be the first round pick then

Why would you compare him to people who didn't play? But you made excellent points; I'm all in on HOF Pederson

MDS

because doug is better than all of them

when doug references his playing career and its met with an eye roll, as in hey doug you sucked. thats wrong. doug didnt suck. he was in the nfl for 10 years. this is hard. this is impressive.

I'd rather talk about how good and impressive McNabb was than puff on some Pederson with you.

this is an odd conversation

Really the best these parts have seen in years.

Tomahawk

He threw a total of 522 passes in his NFL career. That's not really good in any scheme.

After his terrible starting stint in Philly, and replacing an injured Tim Couch in Cleveland (posting a not really good 1-5 record), he backed up Brett Favre for the final four years of his not really good career.

The only reason he wasn't out of the league in three years is because, for whatever inexplicable reason, Andy Reid liked him and brought Pederson with him to Philly.

He didn't play ten seasons because he was good enough to, and certainly not because he was better than motherfargers that didn't even make it into the NFL. He "played" that long because of who he knew; not what he could do.

That's the exact same reason he's the head farging coach of the Eagles. Not because of what he knows, but because of who he knows.

PhillyPhreak54

lol guy riding or dying with Dougie

Huh
