I'd be way more concerned if the reports were about how he was beating Peters on every play.

97 yr-old Peters has been pimp slapping him three out of four plays. 

That's both encouraging and disturbing at once. 

They wouldn't be the Birds if that wasn't the case.

Damn I hope I'm wrong but even before this news of Barnett's struggles I was very disappointed they didn't address the secondary with the first pick.  Sorry but drafting a popular but seriously injured CB in the second round didn't make things any better.

I know I'm just being a negative Nancy here but I just can't escape the conclusion that they pulled another in a long line of boneheaded moves by drafting Barnett.  Seeing reports like that one only feed into that sense of dread. 

Hell, even the positive reports about him seem to be smattered with caveats, as in... he beat Jason Peters on one play BUT the other three he got buried. 

I hope I'm wrong but...

dinged his shoulder this weekend....practices since then have been to the ground - not to the ground - to the ground...because of two full contact johnsons in there i suspect they are being overly cautious

i suspect hes goes tomorrow...if he doesnt then its probably a legit (not serious) injury
