The man. The myth. The legend.

One positive that I can think of is once Wentz watches the film of today he will adjust to taking what's there for him. The sacks on the final drive were avoidable if he dumps off or runs.

That's the hope.  He's a rook and today he looked like one.  Aside from his late game sacks, he missed high on quite a few throws today.  I assume he was feeling rushed, even when he wasn't.

Not to sound homerish, but I think the Eagles win this game. Home teams typically are the beneficiaries of penalty calls, so I think those will be down, and a home game coming off two road losses is a good spot for the Eagles. Vikings are a good team, but are a product of a league with incredible parity. They are not the 2007 Patriots. They aren't even the 2015 Carolina Panthers. They have Rudolph and Diggs on offense and not much else, and I have to think the Eagles play better at home. In a league where it seems like every week is a completely different story from the next... I don't know. I just like the spot. Unless they look ahead to Dallas, but I doubt that having lost 2 in a row.

The way this defense has played the last 2 games, I'd be scared to face the Eagles receivers, let alone Minnesota's.

I don't think they win but I see a more balanced effort from the Eagles (not hard after the last two weeks)....they'll lose something like 20-17

eagles have had 7 and 10 penalties at home this year and they are barely over a .500 team at the linc since 2005...in this case is a home game after two losses better than a road game after a bye?...and while agree about parity there is still every year 2-3 teams that are above everyone else and the vikings sure look like one of them this year....is there a single spot on the field that you would say the eagles are better?....that would be tough to find...and the mismatches when the eagles offense is gong to be on the field are off the charts bad for the birds

that said sometimes you just have a feeling that an inferior team is going to win a game for reasons that are hard to explain....ive been there

i dont see how the eagles get 17 but i could see this being low and close if the eagles offense can at least get some first downs to keep TOP closeish and dont turn the ball over...its not like the vikings are an offensive juggernaut but when the offense is given chance after chance and field position by their defense they can easily put up 24-34 and blow the eagles away...throw in the laughable zimmer vs. pederson coaching h2h and i just dont see how the eagles score this game

Jesus.

The one play where he completely disregarded and was completely oblivious to the DE to his right. I'll give him that its his first game, and away, but still. O-Lineman 101 type stuff there that he failed.

Why does this only happen to the Eagles fans?
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Yeah, as much as Dougie P was making all the right moves weeks 1-3, he seems to equally be making all the wrong moves ever since the bye.

ice grillin you

the only possible reasoning behind this is that howie knows they suck and hes using this year not to win but to groom their right tackle of the future...the problem is this doesnt work in a parity ridden 16 game regular season league where you are 3-2...no matter where you think they are going to end up this year as a fan you dont want to hear it and mostly the other players in the locker room dont wanna hear it they are there to make the playoffs and certainly to a man think they still can

if you are 3-9 and want to throw a guy who isnt ready at one of the most important positions on the field then thats one thing...but you cant do it now and certainly not against the vikes front 7

what infuriates me most is that this guy wasnt your number one pick who disappointed in camp and didnt win a job but has the talent...vai was a 5th round project that wasnt supposed to be ready for a year if ever

Vikings are definitely better than the Eagles at most positions, but I'll take the Eagles RBs over theirs considering Peterson is out. I'll take Wentz over Bradford anyday, and I'm not a Bradford hater like a lot of people, but Wentz just has physical skills that Bradford doesn't possess and can't be taught. I'd probably take the left side of the Eagles OL over theirs if you wanna count that. I'd put Rudolph a bit above Ertz, but I think overall as a unit the Eagles have superior TEs than them. Other than that, not much else. Their entire defense is superior from front to back and their receivers are better, and the positions I'd take from the Eagles over the Vikings, it's not by a blowout.

That said, every year there are 1-2 games you win that you probably shouldn't, and 1-2 games you lose that you probably shouldn't. I think the Steelers were one of those, and the Vikings will fill the yearly quota.

Much to igys chagrin Logan isn't out for the year but he will miss this week

Steven Means should get some solid snaps
