According to witnesses McKnight was trying to deescalate and apologize and the other guy pulled him from his car and shot him repeatedly, then said like "I told you not to farg with me". Total nightmare to get trapped in a confrontation with a psychopath like that.

On the bright side, the shooter will be locked up for four years and five months on involuntary manslaughter, so it won't happen again.

He's actually been released from custody. So either there's some information we don't know, or this is a case of Louisiana being Louisiana (the shooter being a white guy).

Gasser's family said that they couldn't believe that the telecommunications expert was capable of such an act.

"He's the best guy, the most generous guy," Gasser's sister, Sharon Weileman, told NOLA.com. "I have no idea what happened. I can't even talk right now."

So many Americans are in love with the shooter.  It's fantasy to them, getting to shoot down a black guy in the street, tell him "I told you not to farg with me," and then be released by the cops.  It's the kind of thing that Makes America Great Again.

Mcknights killer is white and was let go despite having a history of road rage
