Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I've probably still got the preseason game on DVR. No point in tracking down a stream for this one.

Serious question:

How ugly does it have to get before this thing gets all Sixersy and you start rooting for losses and a high draft pick? Or is that "sacrilegious" in football?

Damn, I just remembered the 2nd rounder goes to the Rams  :-D

If they can't score on Dallas, I can't see how they score against the Jets on the road, but I guess crazier things have happened. In 2013 they followed up their most embarrassing performance with their most impressive performance against Oakland. But, that was Oakland, and I think it was also after a bye... so doubt it's a parallel for this game.

the maps wont be out until wednesday, but i dont see it going much further than philly and ny.

dallas/atlanta is above it at 100 and sf/arz should get a bulk of the west coast. should be the #2 or #3 game though because its just regional action, so whoever the farg those announcers are. easy, take it away.

I'm there if Sproles gets hurt. We might as well be back in the Reid early years with this one fun player to watch bullshtein.

this exact thought crossed my mind in the parking lot after the game...but just for a moment...the division is awful especially so with romo out now...its still early to be thinking draft no matter how ugly its been

Yeah...sad fact is with the Cowboys losing Romo and Dez, the division is still wide open.

The guard play obviously has to get better, but if it starts to gel and they start playing at even 75% of what people expected, they're going to be in the division race until late in the season.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

PhillyPhreak54

The Jets DL is nasty and I think the Eagles special Olympians Barbre and Gardner are going to be eaten alive.

If Bradford struggles I'd have Sanchez in there right away

PhillyPhreak54

Eagles favored by 2 or 2.5 depending where you look

They're also still favored to win the division

SD

Baldinger broke down 4 plays on the NFL network earlier. It was uglier than it looked yesterday believe it or not. My prediction is Bradford doesn't make it through the Jets game.

That's true, but it could also be one of those situations where in 3 years we look back and go "Why the hell did the team have to make the playoffs that year only to be one and done? If we ended up with a top 5 pick we could have drafted ____ and changed the fortunes of this franchise"

Not sure a franchise QB will be available though.

Eagles_Legendz

Jets defense has given up 10 points and cussed 9 turnovers to this point.  Piece of cake.

Butchers Bill

After watching some of the Jets-Colts tonight, my prediction is 5-2 Jets.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

well if you go big picture then it was not wrong to root for draft picks even before the season started because they were never winning anything this year anyway...even in this division they were nothing more than around a .500 team....but in a vacuum you'd like your season to not be over in week 2....with only one game a week in football it's different than other sports

also yes there is no franchise qb in this draft...but I don't know how with a straight face chip comes off Bradford after one year with what he gave up for him...that would be a joke whether it was the right thing to do or not
