QB Eagles

Also highest-rated player in the history of the list to switch teams.

It makes sense because the list has only been going on for 5 years.

It doesn't make sense because Murray's role is clearly going to be scaled back from what it was last year, plus he has a new offensive line, so it's not really reasonable to expect top 5 production from him this season.

Wow.  I would have thought Owens (if the list was being kept 10 years ago)or Shady would have been up there.  Now that I think about it there hasn't been a dominant Giants or Racists player the past 10 years.  Cowboys?  Not really in the top 10.  Guess this does make sense.

how do you think the bedwetter won all those division titles

How bad was the NFC East during AR's tenure?   There were some real lean years there.

it was a complete joke

in the four year span that the eagles won their consecutive division titles only TWICE did a team win more than 8 games in a season

2001: jake plummer - tony banks - kerry collins - quincy carter
2002: chad hutchinson - kerry collins - shane matthews
2003: patrick ramsey - kerry collins - quincy carter
2004: vinnie testeverde - drew bledsoe - mark brunnell

andy won a couple division titles sinc then but basically once eli and romo came into the league the eagles have been just another team

what this shows more than anything is how important it is to have a qb in the nfl....the bedwetter was a good not great qb but he was the best qb in the division at that time and look what the eagles did

Who cares if the other teams sucked?  They won a lot and it was fun as hell to be a fan then.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

QB Eagles

January '05 was fun. It was February that was bad. That was the one year the Eagles truly had all the pieces.

They were never a "great" team though. The NFC East hasn't had a great team in 20 years, even though the Giants pulled the Lombardi trophy out of their ass twice in that span.

it wasnt fun in january

I'll take January over October, but that February fun would be nice once or twice.

The man. The myth. The legend.

#4 on the NFL's Top 100 of 2015 and highest-rated NFC East player in the history of the list

#100 on Barnwell's Top 100 list.

I think he's in between, although Barnwell is closer. Barnwell takes it as a given that he won't play all 16 games, which I find a little extreme.

He may play every game but there is literally no chance that he gets the kind of touches that would put him near the top of a list like this. This team seems to be stockpiling RBs and TEs.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

he had an epic amount of touches last year thats puts him in dangerous territory of a huge drop off....imo what they should do is limit his touches bwtn the 20's and then let him loose in the red zone....chips teams are terrible down there and murray is not

Think Dallas is regretting the decision to not re-sign Murray now? If you're igy the answer is no, if you're the rest of the world you know their running game is farged regardless of how good their O line is. I'm not saying their running game will be one of the worst in the league but last year it was the best and now they're looking at being in the 20 area. Huge difference.

He responded to Shady's quote ("I think Murray's good. But I don't see him as competition as far as the best backs. I like my game a lot."):

Quote"At some point you've got to move on with your life and career. I never worry about what someone else says about me, good, bad, and ugly. I can only control what I can control, and I can't control what someone else says about me. It's funny, but I don't take anything to heart. He has his opinion, I'm sure everyone else has theirs. I'm not worried about it at all."
