That looks like every Trent Richardson carry ever, except with a goal line nearby.

The man. The myth. The legend.

if the chargers and raiders LA moves goes down, the most likely outcome is the chargers swapping places with arizona in the nfc west

interesting
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

If there's a more indifferent NFL market than Los Angeles, I'd love to see it.  They don't deserve a single team much less two.   Good luck building a two billion dollar stadium there, though.  What could possibly go wrong?

MDS

you clearly dont know how business works

LA has about 15 million people in the market....plus tack on another 3 from san diego. its not about finding "fans" to go. its about finding people who want to be seen at the games. movie studios and other businesses will buy tickets. celebrities will go, be on tv, and theyll mention the stupid move theyre in. LA has tons of transplants that will be very eager to see their team play. everyone knows someone in LA, so this will be a big roadie destination.

youre right, they wont have a massive fanbase or a ton of people who will care or be invested in the results. but they will fill it up, and thats all that matters.

its not even filling it up that matters all that much...its the tv market...attendance wise wont differ that much from st louis...when they are good they will fill it...when they arent they wont....but LA as a market in general not having to do with football >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> stl + sd x ten
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Rome

It's such a priority there's been no franchise there in two decades.

Got it.

take attendance as even (which it wont be, but whatever). the seats will be more expensive and worth more in LA than stl, oak, sd, etc. put the same stadium in LA and STL and the LA one can charge more. simple.

the seats will always be sold because of the PSL costs that will run with the stadium. people are going to have to buy in to get them and they arent going to give them up for a couple bad seasons. in the nfl, pretty much everyone can be good except for jacksonville or whatever. you might see a ton of no shows at points, but the tickets will still be sold.

tv market is all well and good. a 20 rating in LA <<<< a 20 rating in st louis or oakland or san diego. the nfl has had record tv ratings over the past decade without the LA market having a team. its not about that, though it doesnt hurt.

basically, both of these teams will be the clippers. they wont have a fan base or a market or turf to call their own. but they will have a fancy stadium filled with people and that simply put is worth 2 billion dollars.

mostly because the league didnt want to move into anything but a new stadium and LA as a city has had a bitch of time getting a stadium deal down pat

no one is saying LA is a great football town...its a horrible sports town in general....but that has little to do with this

not saying st louis is a great market but they had a valid great home field advantage in that dome when they were good...and they might be the best baseball city in the country next to ny

atlanta on the other hand had a dome and had to pump in fake noise and is a four sport horrible city

st louis is a dreadful city that contains suburbs full of racist, lunatic white people that like the cardinals....they are the worst people in the world and are super quiet most of the time. just read the baseball fans st. louis twitter feed. its outrageous.

the whole thing about "who has the best fan base" or "these fan bases suck" is junior high twitter nonsense.

rating fanbases is one of the best things about sports and existed long before twitter

as hard as it may be for you to believe things were around before twitter

This is the saddest thing I have ever read out of a grown man's mouth (fingertips).
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

MDS

the teams with historical success or from the east coast have the most intense, or "best" fanbases

cool! amazing how it works out like that!
