even assuming they would have signed in Philly.

yeah thats another thing...they would have had to outbid for them to even had a chance at those guys cause right now no one is choosing philly over washington or chicago

amaro still being there goes to the lil guys point about there not being any cohesion at the ownership level...they need a single point of contact that is going to hold people accountable and not be afraid to get rid of lifers...get em all out....roob...monty...bowa...and especially that fossil dallas green

They're not slashing enough for it to make a difference and they're not spending anything on the farm system.

They have cash tied up in four guys and all should be gone before Memorial Day.

how do you spend money on the farm system? they didnt have a problem signing their picks

i honestly have no idea why you keep trying to push this "phillies are cheap" thing. its not 1997 anymore. their payroll last year was insane, then they added aj burnett for no good reason.

they suck right now. throwing money at lester or scherzer would be pointless. the phillies problems right now situate around a lack of organizational leadership/accountability and having incompetent decision makers. its not for a lack of willingness to spend money.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

They need to spend much more money on over seas scouting....they also are notorious for under paying their scouts...one thing they need to do is steal some guys who are up and coming baseball minds...that doesn't mean only in the front office which is something they clearly aren't ready to do yet but get some in player scouting as well as player development

if youre asking for a complete organizational overhaul you might as well keep going down the path of impossibility and ask for a discontinuation of the republican party

I like the phillie uniforms but they could be a lot better and they probably don't crack the top 10

The cream things are a farging abomination.  The Aways are awesome.  The Homes are meh.

I wear the maroon era hat all the time.  I hate the bright red shtein.  It's awful.
