I'm not so sure he's wrong about the whole team.  They've played like dead men walking the last three years.   It could be age or the fact they have no talent around them but they're just unbearable to watch for us.  Imagine having to play in those conditions.

Looks like the two pitchers the Phils are getting are high-A/AA kids, righty Zach Eflin (the Padre pitcher LA just got in the Matt Kemp deal that was a 1st-rd pick in 2012) and lefty Tom Windle (LA's 2nd-rd pick last year)

They also picked up two guys in the Rule V draft:  SS/CF Odubel "David" Herrera (TEX) and LHP Andrew Oliver (PIT)

I'm still pissed about Jimmy being traded. Unless he asked to be traded to a contender, then dealing him is just dumb. I seriously doubt they get anyone  in return who will be making legit contributions to this team 3 years from now. Dealing him just to deal is dumb. If anything, they should have waited until the season got underway. Maybe a contender loses a SS to injury, or it's a position of weakness that needs an upgrade. He'd probably have more value in July than he does now.
