hes from some pennsyltucky town like an hour or two from the city....hes not philly but its the closest thing to home

the phillies arent an attractive job by any means, i mean they just admitted they wont win for 2 years (more like 5), but maddon is one of the best in the game and if you can get him you should. he would also be a media darling, fans would adore him. also contributing: sandberg sucks.

rhino is a perfect manager for the phillies now and going forward.....pos manager for a pos team....once they replenish the system rid the contracts and get to where the cubs are now then you go for a top flight guy...which is why chicago would be the perfect place for maddon now

makes sense, but if you can get maddon now and hes willing to manage a terrible team for 3-4 years, you do it
