Can Lane Johnson come back early if the new drug policy is ratified? I know that some players can, but I haven't definitively seen if he's one of them.

No because whatever he tested positive for wasn't on the altered list.

SunMo

yeah Lane Johnson was a straight up PED suspension where as Welker and the others were guys who took amphetamines which at the time classified as a PED but are now being re-classified as recreational
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Well, that sucks. Would have been nice to have him back this week ;-).

Dilfer has sand in his vadge over the non-call on Boykin and the horsecollar.

Boo hoo hoo.

That "horse collar" was no different than the one called against the Eagles last week. They were both awful calls. And TY Hilton wasn't held or dragged down, it was in thd 5 yard range and there was minimal contact. Boo-farging-hoo.

Agreed.  Was that horse caller call reviewable?  To the naked eye it looked blatant but slow it down ok, it wasn't.  Birds hosed last week so screw it.  Hilton fell like a little bitch.

Dilfer, please shut up already.

the fletcher cox horse collar call while a bad one was in no way comparable to the one last night....it happened in the first quarter and the drive ended with just a fg

They were both awful calls. Good teams over come bad calls especially at home on MNF a week after a bad loss.

On a side note, I'm relieved they're not calling the minor grabs downfield like they were in preseason. NFL would be unwatchable if they stuck to that.

General_Failure

Thankfully there were no good teams in this game.

Anyway, Zach Ertz is quietly leading the NFL in 20+ yard receptions. Go Zach Ertz.

The man. The myth. The legend.

By the way, 2-0 or not, I'm not ready to believe that this is a good team until they can put together a whole game. They've had good enough flashes to win, but they've also looked like shtein for long stretches on both sides of the ball. Right now they look exactly like a team who could win or lose against absolutely anyone.

any team that was losing to jacksonville by 17 at one point in time cant be that good

the eagles win last night was more impressive than wash routing jacksonville at home but neither the skins or eagles have beat a team who has won yet

i see a three point game whichever way it goes

Pretty much. You can't expect to get behind by 2+ scores every game and magically come back. One thing I'll say though is that Chip seems to be good at 2nd half adjustments. Between Andy and Chip, you might get a solid game plan for 4 quarters.

phattymatty

you are all miserable pieces of shtein. enjoy the win.

I had that exact thought last night. Put the good parts together and you have a serious coach.

first half of the first game...but lets say that a team losing at any point to a zesty team isn't any good. I am sure you can go back and find instances of good/great teams who have had hiccups against teams. Ala the 1994 49ers getting rocked 40-8 by the Eagles or Seattle eeking out a win in Carolina last year in week 1...

Make no mistake-- I'm glad they won. It would just be nice if every game didn't have to feel like a Rocky movie.
