the league sucks....but that doesnt make the eagles good

beating washington tampa oakland and the giants doesnt make you a good team

it also doesn't make you "bad" when you're 8-6.  the eagles team has tons of flaws but has done better than almost anyone thought they'd do this year.  no one thinks they're winning the SB.  i'm not in the mood to be defending this team after laying an egg, again, against a zesty minnesota team though.  the point is, it's in their hands still.  if they win the last two games they deserve to be in the playoffs and they'll get in.  if they don't win those games then they don't deserve it and they won't make it.  pretty simple at this point.

the winner of the nfc east will not be a good team.....no matter who it is
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Even if the birds finished 11-5 they'd still be the worst NFC team in the playoffs. Way too many holes they've been covering up especially on d. I'm still thrilled with the direction of the team.

Now that Washington is out of the running it's safe to say whoever wins you won't be a fan.

What a dogshtein game.  They were doomed from the start being scared of Patterson

So now assuming Dallas wins this GB game and next week's Washington game, the Eagles are out if Chicago beats them

They can backdoor if the Panthers lose out (NYJ, NO, ATL) and the Bears lose to GB. Not holding my breath for that scenario, though the Panthers are kinda struggling with the Jets this afternoon.

Foles had such a shtein game, throwing a 62.5% completion, 428 yard, 3 TD terrible game. Boo that man.

This was some Andy playcalling. Your QB is struggling, forget about your great RB and make your QB throw his way out of it.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Can't pin this on Foles.  Davis forgeting to to remove his skirt, Matt farging Cassell looking like Joe Montans, the fear of Patterson, a dude from Utah who will probably never score again scoring 3 TD's (although they held the dude to 50 yards on 30 carries) Chipper and his senior moment forgetting he has the best running back in the game were the problems.

Some days QBs have it, some days they don't.

average qb's do this....not great ones

as i said before hopefully the brass realizes foles is not the answer

saints have 3 pts and brees has two INTs with 4 mins left in the half against st louis.

i don't think foles is an ideal fit for this offense but he wasn't dallas level bad.

Saint Favre had more than a few zesty games. Had him for my fantasy QB once, he drove me nuts.

Agree that Foles is not a long term solution for Chip's gameplan, but he's better than any option out there that wouldn't involve a 1st or 2nd round pick to get.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

That's what drove me crazy, Cassell coming right out to start the game looking like Montana. How many straight completions did he get? 10 maybe? Whatever, it was a bad omen not just because they were all complete but the receivers were wide open, defenders not in the same area code.

OK, so it was a trap game but maybe it was a good loss.
