The running game is annoying too...shotgun handoff to Shady...2 yards

shotgun handoff to Shady...loses 3 yards

pitch to Brown...loses 8 yards

Cards have the second ranked run D in the league. Outside of covering TEs their D is outstanding.

I thought the Eagles did a good job of creating mismatches. Don't know why they went away from Ertz.

Later in the game, it seemed like the Cards made some adjustments and starting getting Honey Badger in better position to disrupt those TE passes.

And we get Patrick Chung.

I did not realize how awful this guy is.

Maybe Riley Cooper was right when he said everyone hang Chung tonight?

Very lucky to get the win today.

I like Chippah but jesus farging christ man, do something about your 4th quarter offense.

And put in some other running plays other than the 1 yard Shady fall down and the -7 yard Bryce sweep

Farging seriously!
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I don't know why he wasn't replaced with Kurt Coleman. Coleman is equally awful but at least he doesn't tackle his own players as often.

How good has Nate Allen been this season?

Sgt PSN

Nate Allen has been average/above average I think....which in comparison to previous years makes him look all world.  He's not nearly the liability he was before.  Still kind of sucks at tackling but is playing the pass better.

Rome

Allen sucks.  Not sure what you guys are seeing in him otherwise.

Also good win against a tough team.  I am concerned that whoever is running the offense is getting smoked in the latter stages of games.  They're not doing nearly enough to counter the adjustments being made at the half by d-c's.

It's a petty complaint for sure especially considering they've already won the max number of games I thought possible, but still.

I dont think he sucks, he was drafted for his ball hawking abilities in college.  He's average at best, certainly not worthy of his draft position, but when he's not expected to be #20, He's decent.

SunMo

He hasn't been a liability this year, which is a step up from previous years.  Chung is awful though, they miss mr. wolf

I don't have a great feeling after yesterday's game.  The the defensive holding call on Foles' pick was a bad call but the one at the goal line was a correct call.  Foles overall had an average game, he had some real horrendous throws, especially to shady in the flat.  For the second game in a row the offense stopped producing after getting a big lead and 24 points.  That has to be addressed they need to put teams away in the second half.  You can't have 3 and outs that take :45 off of the clock.  Kelly's playcalling in general yesterday was poor.  Why did they run the ball on 3rd and longs so much?  The chances of getting that with a run are slim and I don't recall them converting any of them.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

The biggest problem with Allen imo is that he doesn't like to hit, which is intolerable for a safety. And all the more so since they moved him to SS. That's probably the biggest reason why he is a poor tackler and you just can't have that at the safety or LB position.

Chung is a hard hitter and I gather that's why they brought him in along with Carey this year, because the DBs were way too soft. Too bad Chung doesn't cover well or hit the opposition as well as he hits own teammates (unless that teammate tackles like a Hoyda and the coaches told Chung to bully up the hoydas).

Foles had an overall average game and still managed 3td's and a 112 qb rating.

Ray Diddy said  it best a few minutes ago, Chung plays with his eyes closed at the point of impact.  He just launches  himself.

trade him !

the refs sucked for both sides but the eagles got a win against a good team in a big game.

still need to see kelly adjust cause as sunmo stated you cant have 3 and outs that burn off less than a minute when you kill the clock. he has gotten away with it a couple of times but its going to hurt them eventually again.

Allen has played the deep ball great...has been stellar in coverage...and is actually getting turnovers. He's not a great tackler but he's adequate. He's been damn good and is the most underrated player on d this season.
