Cliff Harris apparently looked good

Got one hell of a vertical.

Quote
...But Harris' situation isn't one of a normal undrafted rookie. During his abbreviated college career, he was really good. He was an All-America punt returner for the Ducks in 2010 and was great in coverage too. In 27 college games, Harris had eight interceptions, 38 passes broken up and 67 tackles. He was a second team All-Pac 10 corner as a sophomore.

But he played just six games as a junior in 2011 – he had one INT and nine tackles – before he was suspended and then released by the team in December for violating team rules. A drug arrest ultimately led to his dismissal but before that came team suspensions for traffic violations. The drug arrest was just the final straw.

At one point, Harris was certainly going to be drafted. Then his suspension and dismissal from the Oregon team made his draft status fall. And, it fell to the point that he never got a phone call.

That is until after the draft, when he heard from Andy Reid, Howie Roseman and the Eagles – a team willing to take a chance on a player with a troubled past.

I hope he wears #31 so I can take my Al Harris jersey out of retirement

Speaking of former GB defensive backs, anyone know anything about this guy?

QuotePackers released SS Charlie Peprah.
Peprah received a $50,000 workout bonus in the spring and was due only $1 million in base salary. The move is a big surprise on the first day of training camp, although Peprah missed all of OTA season with knee woes and might not have been healthy. A 14-game starter in 2011, Peprah intercepted five passes and recorded 94 tackles. The Packers may turn to M.D. Jennings at strong safety, assuming they don't just move Charles Woodson there full time. Jul 25 - 4:17 PM

He was on a bad D but 94 tackles (103 total according to PFR) and 5 ints in 14 games is not bad. He's a little undersized for a SS so seems like an Eagles D kind of guy.

I didn't think pictures of guys walking in to training camp would need photoshop butchering, but here we are.

The man. The myth. The legend.

That scruff on Pimp's chin ain't doin' a whole lot for him.

Sgt PSN

It's pretty much been there since he was drafted.

im on the wire each day going through player news team by team and cringe when I come up the eagles

it would be stunning if somebody significant doesnt blow out an acl or a torn pec and is done for the year, more so because I think the team completely escaped any real camp injury last year correct?
