this team sucks. i listened to the first inning, and after they didnt score, i didnt even bother. you knew where it was going.

anyway heres how the game i covered tonight ended (winner went to playoffs, loser went home): 0-0, btm 9 (high school plays 7), 2 outs, some mexican up. he hits a blooper to right, its called fair, bounces away from the fielders, throw to 3rd gets past 3rd baseman, no back up, runner scores. game over.

fielding team coaches claim it was 3 feet foul. 1st base coach for hitting team says it hit the line. i couldnt get a good look because the fielders were standing right in front of where the ball landed.

see, its not so bad.
